How To Softmod a Nintendo Wii Ver. 4.3 and Properly Protect it from Bricking!

So here it is! first i want to apologize for the loooong wait. i said that i would upload it before sept 6 (which is when school starts) but i have been having problems with my internet not working(turns out i have to get my modem replaced) and i couldnt get online. also because i had problems converting the files for my camera because it wouldnt work on windows movie maker so i had to use sony vegas instead and it took 8 hours to render!!

Anyway enough with the problems lets move on to the good stuff 🙂

Supplies!:
Wii with 4.3
Super Smash Bros Brawl
2gb SD Card (SDHC WILL NOT WORK!!!)
Computer or Laptop

Instructions:
Step1: Format your SD Card to either FAT or FAT32(I think mine is fat32)
Step 2: Load Super Smash bros Brawl and DELETE EVERY STAGEBUILDER STAGES INCLUDING THE 3 SAMPLES!!
Step 3: Download and install winrar if u have not and download the 43mod.zip folder.
Step4: put all the files in the mod.zip folder into the ROOT of the SD Card. and go into the wad folder and delete the config.txt file!!
Step 5: put sd card into wii and load up brawl
Step 6: go to stagebuilder and let the exploit do its magic.
Step 7: after the scam screen is done hit 1 and install the Homebrew Channel and BootMii as BOOT 2!!
Step 8: Hit exit and load up ios236 installer and let it install
Step 9: Load up the batch installer and put the ios as 236 using the dpad on the wiiremote and let it install
Step 10: Load up Priloader and press + and A at the same time to install (if there are any errors ignore it, it shud install it)
Step 11: Reboot Wii and bootmii should load up. click the power button on the wii 4 times until it gets to the settings tab and hit reset.
Step 12: press reset on the green arrow pointing to the sd icon. this will backup your NAND (memory).
Step 12: Hold Reset until the white screen shows up. activate what ever cheats you want and hit save settings.
Step 13: Congratulations you have hacked your wii!!
